Connectivity
Improving the physical and virtual connectivity between - and to - the two cities is a priority area which is seen by both private and public sectors as key to unlocking the potential for step change in economic growth.
The broad thrust of our focus in this area is to;
- Influence transport policy and promote evidence - based action in pursuit of improved transport investments and services, in particular, on high speed rail connections to and from London and Europe; the Edinburgh - Glasgow rail improvements programme and; late night trainsbetween the two cities
- Achieve seamless voice and data connectivity on the rail network between Edinburgh and Glasgow
