Metropolitan Edinburgh’s economic growth has outstripped many leading cities in Europe and America, according to a new report. However, the city-region has a lower level of productivity than many competitor regions: the report (by international consultants BAK Basel Economics) said that - in order to catch up - Edinburgh should collaborate more with Glasgow.
