Extra Glasgow-Edinburgh rail link approved

The Scottish Parliament has approved the reopening of the rail route between Airdrie and Bathgate, which will create a fourth rail link between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The line will allow access to the cities from towns which lost their rail connection 50 years ago. Read more…
